Jena El-Sabeh is a Professional Certified Coach in the Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She oversees a comprehensive coaching program for biomedical graduate students and teaches three graduate courses. In addition, Jena provides workshops for trainees throughout the Health Sciences. Jena earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Allegheny College. There, she was awarded the Leaving A Legacy award for her work with the Women’s Center and Shelter of Crawford County.
Jena contributed to evolutionary biology research abroad with the Musée National d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris, France. She also leveraged her mindfulness training to teach Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction at Cambridge Associates in Arlington, VA while concurrently serving as a Senior Analyst for the Pension Fund and Private Family sectors.
Jena completed her coach training with Duquesne University at the Palumbo Donahue School of Business in 2018 and maintains her global credential with the International Coaching Federation. Jena brings ten years of experience across public and private sectors. Jena enjoys partnering with individuals in STEM to cultivate their personal growth and contribute to the betterment of the world.
