BMP Scholarships

The Biomedical Master's Program has a limited number of scholarships that are awarded to cover part of the student’s tuition expenses. Prospective students are considered for scholarships primarily based on demonstrated financial need.

Other factors that are considered

  • Underrepresentation in Medicine and Science
  • Geographical origin
  • Family status
  • Personal history

BMP scholarships are available to US citizens, permanent residents, and DACA students. Scholarships are awarded to meritorious applicants on a case-by-case basis and depend on the funds available. Therefore, the number and amount of the scholarships varies every year.

Criteria and Information

The BMP uses a holistic review of each scholarship applicant and prioritizes awards to students who fit the description above. Awarding of Scholarships occurs on a rolling basis throughout the admissions cycle and will be applied directly to the student's account. The scholarships cover only a portion of the tuition and fees, and students are still required to cover the remaining balance.

Accepted students who wish to be considered for the scholarships may complete the BMP Scholarship Financial Need Information Disclosure. This voluntary disclosure form is available in the application portal.

Prior to beginning the disclosure form, students are encouraged to gather information pertaining to their financial limitations and challenges, loan types and amounts outstanding, and scholarships and grants previously received.

Accepted students may apply for the scholarship up until August 1st, however priority is given to accepted students who apply early. Due to the limited amount of funds available scholarships may be fully awarded prior to the August 1st deadline.
