About the Scholarships
The Biomedical Masters Program has a limited number of scholarships that are awarded to cover part of the student’s tuition expenses. Prospective students are considered for scholarships primarily based on demonstrated financial need. Other factors are considered - including underrepresentation in Medicine and Science, geographical origin, family status, and personal history. BMP scholarships are available to US citizens, permanent residents, and DACA students. Scholarships are awarded to meritorious applicants on a case-by-case basis and depend on the funds available. Therefore, the number and amount of the scholarships varies every year.
Criteria and Information
The BMP uses a holistic review of each scholarship applicant and prioritizes awards to students who fit the description above. Awarding of Scholarships occurs on a rolling basis throughout the admissions cycle and will be applied directly to the student's account. The scholarships cover only a portion of the tuition and fees, and students are still required to cover the remaining balance.
Accepted students who wish to be considered for the scholarships may complete the BMP Scholarship Financial Need Information Disclosure. This voluntary disclosure form will be provided to all students who have been offered admissions via e-mail
Prior to beginning the disclosure form students are encouraged to gather information pertaining to their financial limitations and challenges, loan types and amounts outstanding, and scholarship and grants previously received.
